GDPR / RODO

This section briefly describes how the General Data Protection Regulation principles apply on the website. It supplements the Privacy policy and does not replace the controller's duty to provide exact legal details.

1. Processing principles

We aim to process data lawfully, fairly and transparently, collect it for specific purposes, limit its volume, keep it accurate and retain it no longer than necessary. Data must be protected from unauthorised access, alteration, loss and disclosure.

• answering an enquiry or taking an action requested by the user;

• complying with a legal obligation;
• a legitimate interest, such as security and service improvement, where it does not override the user's rights;
• consent where it is required, for example for optional analytics or newsletters.

3. Exercising your rights

Requests can be sent to info@akordirect.com. State which right you want to exercise and which data the request concerns. We respond without undue delay and generally within one month; for complex requests, the period may be extended where the GDPR allows it.

4. Withdrawal of consent and objections

Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest or to direct marketing. Refusing optional cookies should not prevent access to the main website pages.

5. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the controller's response, you may contact the competent data protection authority in the country of your usual residence, work or the alleged infringement.

6. Controller details

Before publication, the controller's full legal name, address, registration details and, where appointed, the data protection officer's contact details must be added. These details must match the Privacy policy and company documents.
